AROUND THE LI BEER SCENE

The 4th annual Long Island International Great Beer Expo was held at the Nassau Coliseum on November 12, 2011. LIBeerGuide.com was at the evening
session and enjoyed seeing old friends and long-time stalwarts of the LI craft beer scene like Dave the Beerman, Ryan from Clare Rose and Rich
Thatcher from the Long Island Beer & Malt Enthusiasts (LIBME), which had an awsome lineup of homebrews for tasting. All of LI's craft breweries were
there including the newest breweries like Spider Bite Brewing and Port Jeff Brewing, which had one of the best beers of the night, a one-off of its
Schooner Ale dry-hopped with Citra hops -- just delicious! The team from Starfish Junction, led by Andy Calimano, did their usual great job - thanks!
